Representation: Don’t Chase. Attract.

Leader: Goldie Jones
Location: live, on Zoom
Next session: next date to be announced

Dreaming of being a repped writer but not sure how to make that connection?

About the Workshop

As a writer looking to build a career, the most important narrative you must craft is the story you tell about who you are as a writer. As much as we love the creative side of being a writer, a writing career is a business. Reps are looking for writers that they can sell.

This workshop sets out a clear strategy for the who, how, why, and when of finding not just a rep, but the right rep for you and your ideal career. You will leave with a plan for how to give your career a solid foundation by building your portfolio and your brand messaging to attract representation, instead of chasing after reps.

We’ll take a deep dive into the steps that will help open doors and get you in the room with reps. We will prepare you to have successful conversations with reps once you are in the room to find the right one that is aligned with you, your goals, and your vision for your career.
